Part Exchange with

Windsport International

If you're looking to buy a new Dart Catamaran, you may want to look at the option of part exchanging your existing boat with us. Here we'll guide you through a few simple steps so our team can appraise your boat, give you a valuation, and help you towards that new boat feeling

How it works

  • Use our online form to let us know all the basic details of your boat, what’s included in the sale and any extra information we might need to know

  • All our valuations are done in person, so whether you want to bring your boat to our base, or arrange to meet us at one of the class supported events, the next step is to get an appraisal booked in

  • Having assessed you boat, provided its suitable our team will provide you with a valuation offer. This is the value Windsport is prepared to put against a new boat.

*This is based on the boat at the time of appraisal any use/damage since the appraisal may result in a change of value

  • Once your valuation offer is agreed, we will process your new boat order. The valued boat will need to be delivered to Windsport as soon as reasonably possible and a deposit is required at this time, with final payment (less the agreed exchange amount) to be made before delivery/collection.

  • Windsport will arrange delivery/collection of you new boat.

*If collected from our base, a complimentary half day of coaching/set up will be supplied.

FAQs

  • Not having to sell your boat privately will eliminate all the hassle of advertising costs, waiting around, time wasters and haggling over the price. Windsport will offer you a honest ‘part exhange’ appraised price, so there’s no risk of any comebacks.

  • Once you receive your valuation from Windsport, there are various websites providing good info on used boats and prices. We suggest you use these as a point of reference. Windsport part exchange appraisals are only in person. One of our team will need to physically examine your boat to give you a fair exchange value.

  • Do any servicing or maintenance that is due. Make sure your boat is clean, and look for any other faults or damage that you could get repaired for a reasonable cost. Any missing components should also be replaced. All these things will help boost the exchange price of your boat
